Terms of service
The terms that apply when you use the Expandus website, assessments, Blueprints and workspace.
1. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential, and for activity carried out under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your authorisation. If you use Expandus on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
2. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully, or to facilitate an unlawful activity.
- Do not attempt to access accounts, data or internal areas you are not authorised to use.
- Do not disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, or reverse engineer the service.
- Do not upload malicious code, or content you have no right to share.
- Do not present Expandus outputs as regulated professional advice.
3. Indicative intelligence and advisory limits
Readiness scores, corridor analysis, cost bands, timelines, Blueprints and recommended next steps are indicative planning outputs generated from the information you supply and from datasets that change over time. They are not legal, tax, immigration, audit, accounting, banking or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific professional advice. Estimates may differ from actual quotes, requirements or outcomes.
4. Third-party providers and government decisions
Regulated services are delivered by qualified third-party providers under their own terms and engagement letters. Expandus coordinates and structures the work; it does not perform regulated services itself and does not control provider pricing, turnaround or outcome. Decisions by government authorities, regulators, banks and registries are made by those bodies alone, and outcomes and timelines cannot be guaranteed by us.
5. Customer-provided data and documents
You keep ownership of the information and documents you provide. You grant us the permission needed to host, process and share that material for the purposes you have requested, including passing it to providers you ask us to engage. You are responsible for having the right to share any personal data of your staff or third parties, and for informing them as their local law requires. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy notice.
6. Intellectual property
The platform, its scoring methodology, datasets, templates, interface and brand remain the property of Expandus and its licensors. You may use the outputs generated for your own organisation's expansion planning. You may not resell, redistribute or publish the platform's underlying methodology or datasets as a competing product.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, dependency failures or events outside our control, and features and datasets may change. Unless we have separately agreed a written service level with you, no specific uptime, response time or delivery time is promised.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access where use breaches these terms, creates a security or legal risk, or where required by law. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the service at any time. Work already commissioned through a provider remains subject to that provider's terms.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you — including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, and any non-excludable consumer or statutory rights. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, Expandus is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on indicative outputs, from a provider's performance, or from a decision made by an authority. Where a mandatory local law gives you stronger protection, that law prevails over this section.
